The following are the diet charts curated according to your disease exacerbation, type of treatment, and body condition.



  1. If you have kidney cysts or any other renal problem, below diet chart will help you cope up with the condition.



Mid- morning

Milk/tea-50 ml/ ½ cup

Marie gold biscuits-2

Breakfast 

Veg upma (once a week) or roti with 1 bowl of vegetable/

1 bowl wheat namkeen broken wheat  with vegetables / 

1 bowl wheat roasted vermicelli with vegetables /

stuffed boiled onion roti without oil or roti with 1 bowl vegetable/

Brown bread sandwich 1 time in a week but without edges






Lunch

Roti with 1 bowl vegetable /

Roti with 1 bowl vegetable   and 20 gm fresh curd /

Roti with 1 bowl vegetable or paneer curry 25 gm or 1 egg white curry but once a week/ 




Evening

1/2 cup tea with mariegold biscuit 


Dinner

Roti with 1 bowl vegetable / 

Roti with 1/2 bowl vegetable and radish but once a week / 

Roti with 1 bowl vegetable and carrot but once a week 


 



2. This diet chart is for diabetic kidney patients. Is Karma Ayurveda Fake

Before - Breakfast

Drink soaked fenugreek water 1 cup 

Mid-morning and evening 

Milk/tea-50 ml/ ½ cup without sugar and 

           Marie gold biscuits-2

Breakfast 

1 bowl wheat namkeen broken wheat  with vegetables / 1 bowl veg oats or 2 piece of rava idli and ½ bowl of sambar / 1 bowl wheat roasted vermicelli with vegetables /

2-3 eggs without yolk and toned milk 100ml / 1 bowl sprouted salad / 2 piece of brown bread potato sandwich and cucumber

Before-lunch 

Apple/ watermelon/papaya/pear/blackberry

Lunch and Dinner 

½ plate salad and 1 bowl vegetable like ladyfinger, bitter gourd, carrot, paneer, capsicum, and ridge gourd and 2 chapati


3. This diet chart should be followed by those kidney patients who are taking dialysis.



Before - Breakfast

½ cup tea with whole wheat biscuits/marie gold biscuit 

Mid-morning and evening 

Apple/pear/guava without seeds/ papaya/ ½ cup tea with whole wheat biscuits/veg roll

Breakfast 

Stuffed paneer paratha in less oil or 2 boiled egg without yolk 

Before-lunch 

Apple/ watermelon/papaya/pear/blackberry

Lunch and Dinner 

Roti with 1 bowl of vegetables like raw papaya/ pumpkin/ 1-2 piece of chicken 


4. The following are the unhealthy foods that will not help to cope up with renal problems.

  • Refined flour

  • Gram flour

  • Oily food

  • Fried food

  • Baked food

  • Processed food

  • Frozen food

  • Citrus fruits

  • Plantain and banana

  • Dry fruits

  • Spicy food

  • Salads

  • Green leafy vegetables

  • Sweet potato

  • Cabbage and cauliflower 

  • Egg yolks

  • Garlic and tomato

  • Multigrain biscuits

  • Curd, cream, butter, mayonnaise, margarine, and ghee

  • Fish, mutton, and red, etc

5. Do not judge a book by its cover. Don’t ignore a food for its bitter taste; it can boost your immune and digestive system to conquer diseases. The following are the foods that are healthy for a person with renal problems.


  • Roasted vermicelli

  • Wheat Dalia/porridge/broken wheat 

  • Green pumpkin

  • Raw papaya

  • Bottle gourd 

  • Ridge gourd 

  • Round gourd 

  • Pointed gourd

  • Whole wheat chapati/pita bread 

  • Fresh fruits like apple, pear, papaya, guava (without seeds), cranberry, blueberry, and blackberry (50 to 100 gram per day).

  • Lactose-free biscuits/sugar-free biscuits/ wheat-based biscuits/ Marie gold biscuits 

  • Cumin, turmeric, coriander powder, onion, green chilies (without seeds), asafetida, and carom seeds. 

  • Double toned milk/skim milk (50ml for a day)

  • Herbal tea/normal tea (1/2 cup a day)
